Ehat kind of foreign policy do I think the US should have in the future?

I think that there is going to be a lot of changes going on in near future when it comes to foreign policy, because of the recent presidential election, which ended with a victory to the democratic nominee Barrack Obama (to great pleasure for me, I might add). I have for a long time been frustrated with the fighting going on in Iraq, which have not achieved what it set out to do. By pulling out the troops they are hoping to achieve results without military force.

I also think that the relationship between the US and other countries will change. Many European countries are much more optimistic to the new democratic president, than the former republican. And being that Barrack is half black also gives him attention from many countries in African, especially Kenya, which is where he has his roots.

I hope that Barrack can achieve to gain back some respect for America, by trying to be a bigger help in the world, instead of making the US appear as an arrogant superpower.

What consequences will the change of president in the US bring?

I believe that the cahange of president i the US was much needed. Barack Obama brings new ideas and views to the table, wich I think is important to the Amrican people. Especially the not so fortunant of them. He's politics is set out to affect all citizents in stead of just the upper class. Being that I have lived in the US, I have seen how much a change in for example the healtcare program is needed. Poor Amricans can't afford to stay healthy. The change in office will also bring great changes to the situation in Iraq. Barack wants to pull out the troop, and focus on helping them in other ways than by military force.

I belive that Barack Obama has great ideas for the future of the US, and that it would sooth the whole country if he carried them out. However, I do not think that he will be able to change everything that he has prommised, and I am therefor sure that he will end up disapointing many, when they realise that its not all going to be as they hoped. But all in all I believe that this change will bring good things to the American people.
